The project
Vegan, sustainable, fair trade and delicious? All in one, is what you´re going to find at this project!
Learn and assist in the process of the fabrication of one of the best chocolates in Ecuador and of course, in the world. But that´s not all, in this factory they don´t like to waste anything, so they use the other parts of the fruit to make cacao butter, syrup, soaps, wine, tea, and even BBQ sauce.
You´ll be able to work in some different areas like: business plan & management, production plant, customer service, marketing and social media.

Location details
Project is located at the cloud forest, the accommodation is inside a touristic reserve of the same owners. Two meals per day are included.
Requirements
Basic spanish (A2), must be 18 and over, with valid passport and health insurance

Mondays to Fridays
8:00 Breakfast
10 to 13:00 Work at the chocolate factory in any of the areas: customer service, store, production plant, marketing, among others.
13:00 to 14:00 lunch and resting time.
14:00 to 17:00 Work at the chocolate factory in any of the areas: customer service, store, production plant, marketing, among others.
17:00 Free time
Role of the Participant
Skills required
A high level of Spanish is not necessary, but a volunteer should have at least a basic to intermediate knowledge as the majority of the staff speaks Spanish. Participants must be open and flexible.
